Paredes, part of the Sousa Valley's area, is currently a Municipality that has been claiming its name in different areas of our society, namely tourism. In terms of location, Paredes enjoys privileged conditions, for it is just a few minutes from Greater Porto. On the other hand, it still preserves a magnificent rural atmosphere.

The Municipality of Paredes is inserted in the "Rota do Românico" (Romanesque Route) and in the "Rota do Vinho Verde" (Green Wine Route), gathering a group of facilities and means that can provide the visitor with pleasant moments. All of those who want to obtain information on the Municipality should go to the City Hall, for it is in this space that the Tourism Office works.

In the City Hall of Paredes' Tourism Office one can find information on the patrimony, what to do, what to visit, indications on the type of crafts the Municipality has, lodging, restoration, transportation and maps of the Municipality of Paredes. The Tourism Office is equally responsible for the instruction of processes for the Classification of Properties of Municipal Interest.
